Leave your Mac Books for a while & check out some exciting news from Dell’s stable. It’s Official; Dell has launched their much hyped M14x, M11x & M18 for geeky gamers. Dell is promoting M14x as the most powerful 14-inch laptop in the world. Specs wise this 14-inch monster boosts latest Intel’s i7 processors; NVIDIA’s latest optimus powered video cards, high capacity 8- cell lithium Ion battery , HDMI , 2 MP front facing camera among mind boggling  features . Dell Alienware M14x can be yours starting $1200

Next on the list is the follow- up of 11-inch little monster called M11x. The company gives you an option to choose between Intel’s latest i5 and i7 processors.  Though Dell has kept the dimensions of the product unchanged, just a bump up in specifications. All you need to spend a cool $1000 on Alienware M11x.

At last THE MOST interesting launch from Dell has to be M18x. Called it as a biggest monster of all the recent launches took place. This is bigger than any normal sized laptop. I won’t mind replacing my old HP pavilion desktop with New Alienware M18x.  The machines boost some of the top notch specification, which makes M18x the favorite choice among industry professionals & hard core gamers. Now, have a look at the specification:

Disgaea, the famed gaming series from Japan is all set to embrace American Gamers. The game is exclusive to PlayStation 3; expect September release date as per Disgaea’s official website. Disgaea4: Promise Unforgettable in short Disgaea4 will be an action packed game with revenge in mind. It’s a story of social reform that sweeps across not one, but many worlds. Once again, Netherworld will come alive with buzzing activities. The game promises all new control systems like customization of characters, focus on attack powers & much more. 

It’s Sony vs. Microsoft

Sony is riding high on the global shipments of PS3 beating Microsoft’s Xbox 360. According to an independent research, PS3 is way above Xbox 360. Sony was always a big in Europe & rest of the world. But its Seductress ,PS3 never overshadowed Xbox 360 in USA. . We are not saying that PS3 was a flop in states. PlayStation as a brand had pretty good run in United States of America, World’s largest gaming markets. On the other hand, Xbox 360 never got attention in Japanese market. I don’t know, why Microsoft is shy to announce that Xbox 360 failed to entice Japanese gamers. Europe, World’s second largest gaming market loves PlayStation over Xbox. In France, PS3 outsold Xbox 360 by 0.7 million units. Other big markets like UK for instance appreciate PlayStation over Xbox. If we go by recently released data, Sony's console is favorite among European audience, with 14.7 million units to the Xbox 360's 13.7 million units. We know that sales of PlayStation Move are not that great, if we compare with Kinect, but still sales are coming from Europe & Asia.

Xbox, brand owned by Microsoft lacks the Aspirational value among large number people. If we compare Xbox’s & PlayStation history, we get to know that, Xbox is not a successful brand in comparison with PlayStation. Prior to Xbox 360, the original Xbox failed miserably not only in its Home land (USA) but also in major gaming territories. Thankfully Xbox 360 saved company’s dwindling image in console business. Xbox 360 is a great console, best known for its first-person shooting games like Halo, Call of Duty etc. Its Xbox Live service is far far better than PlayStation Store. Although, Xbox 360 wins in games, power, performance, but it lacks in hardware, this is where PS3 wins. Lack of Blu-Ray player in Xbox 360 might be a big reason of now disowning this console. Another possible reason is” Lack of Awareness “among Asian & European users. Countries like India for e.g., where gaming culture is not high that of USA & Europe. There PlayStation is a king because of its Marketing & Advertising techniques thanks to SCEE.

Kinect has charged Xbox 360 performance in many parts of world. But is it enough for Microsoft’s to make Xbox, a household name like PlayStation. On the other hand, Sony the owner of proud PlayStation brand needs to focus on its online services like PlayStation Store & PlayStation Home (Remember?). A console without games is like a “BRICK”. It’s true, PS3 is a dream console for most of the developers & publishers, but for that quality games should be released in due time. Of late, Sony has got the right signal from gaming community that if they want to succeed, they have to release games. Now the company has launched Quality titles like Killzone 3(3D capable), Little Big Planet 2 & many more to follow like infamous 2, Uncharted 3 among other.

Sony wants YOU to Buy 3D T.V

Sony is leaving no stone unturned to make PS3, the most happening gaming system ever made by human beings. The company, behind PlayStation 3 recently pledged to release nearly 30 (3D) enabled games for the system. Some of the biggest titles such as Uncharted 3, Socom 4,   & Ratchet and Clank: All 4 in one among others. The Tokyo based company is facing stiff competition from Microsoft’s Xbox 360 at the moment. According to NPD, Xbox 360 is outselling PS3 month-on- month basis, which caused a worrisome situation for Sony. Analyst sees a price drop for PS3 in coming months. As Nintendo’s umber cool 3DS release date is approaching fast, the company wants to divert a little attention towards PS3. Hey if you forgot, originally PlayStation 3 started the so called “3D” revolution due to its inbuilt 3D capable quality. Sony has already launched 3D capable Killzone 3 last month. Now company claims that 20% of total demos downloaded for Killzone 3 were in 3D.

NINTENDO 3DS: Let the fun begins...

Just 4 days from now, Japan will going to witness the biggest ever launch of a gaming console. The Company is leaving no stone unturned to make 3DS launch a memorable affair.   From Amsterdam to Tokyo, the whole world is praising Nintendo’s upcoming glass free 3D wonder. Recently, the Londoner’s got a chance to witness 3DS in a special pre-launch event called “Believe Your Eyes”. US retailer Gamestop pegged 3DS as the best selling console, if we go by its pre-orders.  Looks like, the Kyoto based firm wants to repeat the same magic done by Microsoft’s Kinect.
