PSP 3001 E is the next rumored version of Sony PSP 3001
Off late Sony realized that PSP GO was a kind of failure, which not only dented PlayStation image as a brand but also made Sony paralyzed. It’s like a dream to chase Apple which gone sore with PSP GO. But its little brother the original PSP chased its closest competitor Nintendo’s DS with courage and showed to the world that it’s really hard to beat the classic PSP. I still adore my ageless PSP, the one I bought back in 2008.
If you look at the recent data , PSP outsells the newly launched 3DS in Japan . Sony might be disappointed with PSP GO, but they wanted to continue with PSP. According to a report published in Wireless Goodness, Sony recently submitted a new version of PSP called as PSP 3001 E for FCC clearance . Don’t expect something drastic from Sony, at least. If you are thinking that Sony will going to add a second analog sticks into PSP 3001 E, than you are completely wrong. When Sony announced NGP, they told the world that NGP will be equipped with dual analog sticks for complete gaming experience. This makes NGP, the first handheld console with dual analog sticks. Even Nintendo’s 3DS comes with single analog stick.
As far as PSP 3001 E is concerned, the company added monopole antenna with a –1.5dBi gain, compared to the inverted F antenna with a + 3.5 dBi gain found in PSP 3001 E. Many analysts feel that PSP as a concept lacks the unstoppable fire found in DS and ipod touches. I disagree with all the so called gaming critics, when PSP was launched back in 2005; it was touted as THE NEXT BIG THING in gaming industry. That pencil box looking device was capable of running games, movies, internet in one Pandora box. You cannot compare PSP with DS or with an ipod touch. Each device caters to different audiences and works well in their demography’s. After all Sony sold a whopping 67.8 million units of PSP till date, you cannot ignore these magical numbers. Let’s hope NGP will carry forward the legacy of mighty PlayStation brand. And try to fulfill the gaps, ignored by previous generation PSP

Sony Kicked Competitors eyes, launched mysterious S1, S2 tablets
![]() |

I cried
I rolled down on Floor
I wished for stuff like S1, S2
Sony finally announced their own versions “TABLETS” in the form of S1, S2. Both the tablets can be up for grabs later this year. Earlier this year, Nikkei reported that, Sony is possibly launching Tablets in wake of growing interest in tablet computing. Sony’s honcho CEO Howard Stringer also admitted that their Android 3.0 ready tablets will be rolled out by “summers”. Today, at the Press conference held in Tokyo , Sony finally made it clear that their mysterious tablets are real and will be available across the world later this year.
Their flagship model S1 gives competition to Samsung’s Galaxy series and Motorola Xoom besides magical ipad 2. The tablet comes with 9.4 inch screen and will be powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor. You also get some pretty features such as 3G built in connection, front & rear facing camera, WiFi ,Google’s Android 3.0 OS & of course “ PlayStation Suite”.
The other model known as S2, which is quite smaller than Big Brother S1, comes with a 5.5 inch screen (Clam shell design) .Again, it also comes with Android 3.0 OS, Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor among standard features. Both the models are compatible with Sony’s Qrio Video and Audio VoD services. Sony’s S2 tablet, which features 5.5 inch looks pretty similar to just launched Kyocera Echo. If you remember, Dell also came up with an idea of 5 inch tablets with Streak tablet, but unfortunately the tablet performed miserably. Are they trying to position S2 somewhere between a 9inch and 7 inch tablet?
Sony products carry a high price tag in comparison with their competitors. Let’s hope they don’t repeat the same mistake what Motorola did with Xoom.

Razer Switchblade- Your Portable Gaming machine
Are you suffering from Gaming Phobia ? Than you need to check out this fantabulous report from China . Remember “Razer Switchblade” the gaming netbook(Concept) shown to us by Razer back in January at CES 2011. Recently, the company in collaboration with Intel & Tencent confirmed Swichblade’s availability in Chinese market. Though, its price & availability is still to be announced by Razer’s representatives. I must say the concept like Swichblade looks tempting & delicious at first glance. But that doesn’t mean it tastes as good as Strawberry cake. Here are some of its known specifications:
· 7-inch Display
· Intel’s latest Z670(Atom Processor)
· Supports Windows 7
· 3G & Wifi
· Headphone jack
· USB 3.0
· Mini HDMI
If you look at the specifications its pretty comparable with latest computing device of today. The coolest feature of this pretty machine has to be its Keyboard . Here you don't find an ordinary physical Keyboard, instead a programmed keyboard , which can be changed from Qwerty to gaming mode as per your preference . The illuminating keys will attract you the most.
What about the games? Are we going to see any App store? I know your head is full of unanswered questions. Let me clarify for your convenience, the company has tied up with Tencent for games and other services. But there is no word about any App store.
Your comparison with Alienware M11x or ipad for instance is off no use. The machine falls some where between a laptop & Tablet. But it’s very close to PC gaming. That’s why company chooses China for its global launch. For your information, China PC gaming is pegged at $ 4.8 Billion in revenues. The country boosts 457 million Internet users, more than any other country. So, intelligent decision taken by Razer’s marketing people. The machine will be “Affordable “for sure.
What do you think about “Razer Switchblade “. So what do you think about Razer’s concept? Will “Switchblade” change the way we way play games? Send us your opinion about the posts via Twitter, Facebook or simply comment under the post.

It was Nintendo who started the motion controller bandwagon; slowly steadily Sony & and Microsoft also joined Motion Party. But they forgot to include trusty PC gamers. Though you will not going to find “HP SWING” in USA , Europe or in Japan , it was launched exclusively for Indian Territory . So, we have to admit the growing market for motion controllers. Razer, known for high end accessory maker announced the availability of “Razer Hydra” in June, 2011. The motion controller comes bundled with much hyped Portal 2 and will retails for $139/ EU 139.

SEE U IN 2012 , says Kratos
Oh My God!! I want to shout, scream from my building. One of my favorite franchises God of war (GOW) will once again seduce my fellow gamers on September 2012. Rumor surrounding God of war 4 is spreading like American wild fire. The Buzzzzz has started, when gaming magazine PSM3 got vital information about God of war 4 developments. We cannot comment about its existence or in a position to accept it happily. There is no concrete evidence to prove that new God of war game will eventually debut on Sony’s NGP or PlayStation 3. For that we need to wait for an official conformation from developers at upcoming E3 conference. For now keep partying as usual, if you really missing God of war series. Try to find it in your gaming rack, hope you will find it as soon as possible.
God of war series success not only proved a major milestone in gaming circles about also strengthened PlayStation as a brand. The journey of Protagonist Kratos started on PlayStation 2 via PSP to latest PS3. We have witnessed this Greek mythology not only in the form of video game but also in other mediums such as Comics, Novels & untitled Movie (still to be made). The first two installments of the game, GOW & GOW 2 sold a whooping 8 million copies on PlayStation 2. Sony has also released installments Digital version under the name of God of war: Collection. We hope this series will entertain us for ever. This series reminds me of a song called Forever Young by Jay-Z feat Mr Hudson
