  It’s hard to be believed but Rockstar Games have finally decided to make console gaming to next level. The makers of highly appreciated Grand Theft Auto series set to unveil the next version in the form of Grand Theft Auto V (GTAV). According to official website, Rockstar Games will be launching a first –look kind of thing on 11.02.11. No information has been provided by the developer, whether the game is being developed for current generation consoles or for next – generation consoles like Wii U.

We heard that various developers secretly working on PS4 games. And on the Xbox front, analysts claimed that Microsoft to launch next version of Xbox 360 in late 2012. Well, one can’t comment until unless something concrete came our way. But, this time Nintendo might be using all his magical powers to capture coveted title like Grand Theft Auto V reserved for Wii U as exclusive. No knows, whether GTA V will be limited to Wii U or multi – console in nature. I’m sure , gamers will be as delighted as developer himself.

PSVita or NGP – A Lifestyle device for lifeless gamers

World’s biggest gaming party is about to start next week. The BIG 3, NMS (Nintendo, Microsoft & Sony) are ready to unveil their next generation of consoles.  Recently, Sony admitted that they are currently working on PlayStation 4. We don’t know, whether they are keen to show a prototype in working condition at this years E3 conference. Honestly, at this point of time, PS4 is like a distant dream for me. But, the company is looking confident as far as NGP or PSVita is concerned.  The rumors surrounding the console name finally came into an end. Sony applied for domain named PlayStation Vita.com & PSvita.com back in April 20, through NetNames .com

We all know that from the Day 1, Sony wants the device to be marketed as a “Lifestyle product “. Is PSvita or NGP a lifestyle product? Do you remember Sony vaio P series, it’s a lifestyle product meant for niche people. Though the concept was brilliant, but it didn’t get commercial success because of it exorbitant price. I don’t know, how Sony will going to address the pricing issue. I hope they have learnt a lot from PS3 pricing. Let’s wait for the official announcement.
