Last week at Nokia World 2011, London, Microsoft launched a new App called Xbox companion App. With the new app, you can control your Xbox 360 via a windows phone. What’s more, you can browse the web, search content on Xbox live among other features. When? If we go by reports, than probably this holiday season.

Lately Windows 7 phone has seen a steady rise, due to rise in number of hardware partners. Latest being Nokia, who is struggling after the sudden rise of newer mobile platforms such as Google Android and Apple ios. The company showcased Lumia 800 and 701 powered by Windows Phone 7. The release date of Nokia Lumia 800 has been set for U.K customers.
